Sikki is a type of grass grown in the damp and muddy areas of Bihar and UP. This natural grass is collected and sun-dried until golden and after that artisans with their skill transform these dried natural fiber into different hand crafted items such as table mat, tray, basket, toy, and many more. This beautiful craft form is mainly practiced by women in the rural parts of Bihar.
